A desert girl's water dreaming. I have always found peace in the bottom of whatever body of water I could immerse myself in. Since childhood, the feeling of being submerged in it has been a centring experience. It’s there where a blurred vision brings forth an absence of clutter on the eye, muffled sounds made distant by the buffer of H2O bring me back to myself. Underwater is where the outside world doesn’t exist for the duration of a breath. It is my meditation where worries and doubt are released for just a moment.

As the suns’ rays bend light through liquid, shimmering particles inspire imaginings of waterscapes and endless dreams of breathing underwater.
