This body of work looks at the concept of home / nest and the evidence left behind in the place of residence. What do we consider to be our home, a house, a town, a city, or a country? The paintings also look at aspects of isolation and the energy that is revealed in a microcosm. The topographical landscapes draw inspiration from Aboriginal paintings of the Northern Territory and inspiration from the natural environment in the central Australian outback.
